The first Purpusii x Halley's Comet fruit

The first of our Purpusii x Halley's Comet hybrids have produced their first round of fruit. One of the goals for this generation was to change the flesh color from magenta to purple, so I nearly cut down this hybrid after seeing the fruit...

However, the fruit brixed very high for it's small size and had a very unique flavor! So, I am going to keep this one after all, and let its fruit mature and see how it further develops. Many more of are bearing fruit, so more hybrids to talk about soon!
