Why it is called Gator Tail

Really beautiful flower buds with the most incredible deep magenta tips and vibrant green skin, to which I feel the camera just does not do justice! Pictured below is another of our 2yr old PH hybrids in testing, that is fruiting for the first time!

This one we affectionately call "Gator Tail" due to the amount of 4 sided branches this plant produces that resemble alligator tails.
